Dr. Roberts graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in Athens with an undergraduate degree in biology. He earned his doctoral degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he graduated as valedictorian. Afterward, he completed his internship in podiatric surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital, affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. His last two years of residency were completed at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, a hospital affiliated with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Roberts has published several research papers and presented at many lectures throughout his career. He stays current with the latest advancements in his field and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Florida Podiatric Medical Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, certified in foot surgery. Dr. Roberts was named one of the Top Podiatrists in Tampa Bay Magazine 2015.
